July 13th - Idaho Springs, CO to Snow Mt. Ranch; Berthoud Pass

There is not much to say about this day in addition to what the photos show. Idaho Springs was full of cute houses which were painted in numerous colors. What I found funny is that a lot of them had what I like to refer as "fish scale" siding.

 On our way to Snow Mountain Ranch, near Granby, we climbed Berthoud Pass 11,306 ft (3446 m)! On top we met Leslie, Dave and Beth, a fun bunch, who gave us Mexican beer to celebrate....life I guess! IT WAS GREAT TO MEET YOU!!! HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!!!

At the bottom of the pass we saw three moose munching away on some greenery near the road. 

At Snow Mountain Ranch we met James' friend Stephen whose wedding we were there for. We got to attend a wonderful rehearsal dinner that evening and met many fun friends and family members of the couple.
