July 15 - 16th  ....More on the Lazy Side!

We spent one more day at Snow Mountain Ranch. Really did not do much but hang out. We attended a presentation about China which featured a Kung Fu Master. His performance was nothing like I had ever seen before. I would describe it as gracefully violent. Very cool to watch.

On the 16th we rode as far as Granby in the morning (= a full 5 mile ride!!!!!) where we ended up spending most of the day sitting in the swinging chair display in front of the grocery store. There we met Nathalie and Jean-Philippe from Quebec. They are also on tour and invited us to come visit them on the Gaspe Peninsula. THANKS SO MUCH!!!! SEE YOU THERE!

After eating enough cliff bars and peanut butter we finally got our lazy butts off the comfy cushions and cleaned our bike chains in preparation for the Trail Ridge ride through Rocky Mountain Natl Park tomorrow. Eventually we rode on to Grand Lake that evening where we cooked dinner in a playhouse and slept behind a church. We did a poor job of stashing our food away that night so a raccoon stole one of our apples and took a bite out of our avocado. Yup, we learned our lesson! Stash your food properly or starve! (sort of)

(sorry no pictures today, toooo lazy)
