It was a long ride into Montreal and the rush hour traffic made me a bit nervous. Since we weren't familiar with the area we just followed the major highways which have a lot of busy entrances and exits. Eeeeek I am glad that's over. It was starting to get darker and we were getting hungrier. Our destination was my friend Esther's place and the fact that she had promised us a nice dinner that evening was just the motivation we needed to keep pedaling, pedaling. Esther has already made two appearances on this blog and since she just moved back to Montreal a few weeks ago it worked out well to arrange another get-together.
Esther and Chris had prepared a most delicious dinner for us when we got there along with beautiful fall decorations on the table and big board saying WELCOME.
THANK YOU TWO FOR THE AMAZING WELCOME AND ROYAL TREATMENT. I AM JUST SIPPING A GLASS OF PINOT GRIGIO AS I AM WRITING THIS AND I WILL NOW DRINK A TOAST TO MANY MORE FUN TIMES WITH YOU BOTH!!!
Esther and her boyfriend Chris took us on a city tour. Here is the view from Mount Royal.

Goin' for a walk in the neighbourhood. Just liked this house corner with the directional light, the creeper and leaves speckling the lawn.
