Frank Slide in Frank, AB. This rock slide destroyed the entire town of Frank in the middle of the night several decades ago. Quite a stunning and shocking sight.
We then headed north towards Calgary on HWY 22 which was a beautiful ride. At one point we stopped at a ranch to fill our water bottles. Judy and Larry were super nice and even gave us four freshly baked muffins ( I will have to get the recipe on the way back because they are the best muffins I have ever had) and home made jerky.
Further along, we were stopped by a Fish and Wildlife Officer. He was super stoked to see us traveling on bikes and asked us tons of questions because he is planning on doing a similar trip in the nearest future. Was great to meet you Kevin. Your enthusiasm is fantastic!
