Checked out Zadar for a bit. Nice town but nothing too amazing. Then headed further south towards Sv Filip i Jakov, ducking into car washes and other roofed infrastructure to sit out the occasional rain squall.
In Sv.FiJ we got permission to camp behind a hotel and the kind receptionist even allowed us to use the hotel bathrooms!!! Yay running water and soap!
A few years ago James had become friends with a guy who owns a wind surfing school in town, so we went down to the waterfront so see if he and his buddies were still there. Yes they were!! It was so great to meet/ see them all again! They promptly invited us out for pizza, which was sooooo wonderfully yummy and a great fun time. Mmmm meat and cheese!
