Since we were in Los Angeles we thought we had to make the effort and at least take a quick look at downtown Hollywood. We took a quick drive through to say we were there so here are some of the snap shots. I am sure it would have looked much more impressive at night with all the signs lit up. Maybe we will do that next time.
Stephen had to fly back home on the 30th, which was unfortunate because we had hoped to celebrate New Years with him. However, it had been so great to see him again and sometimes short and sweet is the best way to visit. Thank you Stephen for coming out here to see us! It was a real honour for us!
Now a very special Thank You to Susan, our host and friend. It has been a most enjoyable, relaxing, fun time staying with you and you truly spoiled us to the nines. We are so very grateful for your generosity and hospitality. We often think back to our great time in LA wishing you all the best and we look forward to seeing you again!
