Oct 10-12 Bukhara cont.

Location: Bukhara, Uzbekistan

Madina&Ilyos, the small backpackers guest house where we stayed was conveniently located in a small lane near the
main attractions. Every morning we got to enjoy the Central Asian round, flattened bread loaves with the decorative stamp in the middle. We shared a room with a Danish hitchhiker called Jeppe. He was one if those easy going, keen and bright individuals and we became friends with him right away.

On our way to Bukhara I had found some vigorous willow trees from which I cut off 6 strong shoots to serve as new tent poles. At the end of an afternoon on the sunny roof of the guesthouse, we  once again had a free standing tent that was almost as easy to setup as the original system. I will post a more detailed description of our "new tent" at a later date.
