Location: near Kungrad, Uzbekistan
More straight, flat road. About 10 km outside of Kungrad we stopped at a rest stop to eat our soaked buckwheat dinner and hopefully get permission to sleep in the unfinished building next door.
As we sat there a group of construction workers showed up and invited us to have dinner with then in the little restaurant. So nice of them. Wow, yummy. We had been eating mostly water soaked oats and buckwheat and lemons for vitamins during the last few days so pasta, yogurt and watermelon were a real gourmet meal. The guys then said we can sleep in the restaurant that night. Perfect! Thank you!!!
