Upon our departure, the family presented us with a Kyrgyz felt hat (for James) and a typical Kyrgyz head scarf for me as a good bye present. One of the neighbours, Kanikei, also came over and gave us a bag of home made snacks for the road and Nazeera (lady of the house) even gave us a bottle of her home made yerayprava sauce which we enjoyed so much. (Sort of like salsa).
