Location: Jalal-Abad, Kyrgyzstan
We got to stay two nights with the Polish couchsurfer couple Mathias and Karolina. It was much needed rest after this mountainous stretch and Mathias and Karolina were the perfect hosts for us: relaxed and calm. On the second day two more travelers showed up. Surprise, they were the two Czech backpackers, Helena and Thomas, whom we had met on the road near the Toktogul Reservoir.
We had a really fun evening exchanging travel stories, commenting on various cultural quirks we had come across and drinking vodka shots.
