Location: between Kingman, Arizona, and Boulder City, Nevada
Not very eventful. The landscape was arid and rocky with sparse vegetation. North of Kingman we were directed to ask for camping at Rosy's Restaurant. The owner told us many cyclists camp on the restaurant property and if the weather is a bit uncertain people camp out in the little chapel next door. That's what we ended up doing. It is always nice to not have to set up the tent.
The next day we rode into Nevada past the Hoover Dam. Unfortunately we could not see much of it from the bridge and we were not keen enough to make the detour down to the visitor center. That evening we were hosted by David and Barbara in Boulder City. We had a very nice evening there.
