June 24- Ephesus

Today was the big day! At least that's how I felt because I was to go visit the Ephesus historic site today and get a good photo collection of it while James waited outside guarding the bikes. (He had visited Ephesus on a previous trip so he did not miss out).

In my opinion, any of our modern cities are put to shame by the splendor Ephesus' remains hint at. These crazy Romans knew a thing or two about making a place look simply stunning.

TIP: if any of you plan on visiting Ephesus in the future, make sure you get in right when it opens at 8 in the morning. That way you should have about an hour to get some good photos before the place gets flooded with the tour bus/cruise ship crowd at 9.
